That is one of the most heartbreaking part of that whole scene. Syed pulls his hand back, but still sort of quite reluctantly, I'd like to think... very gently anyway.. OMG, that breaks my heart every single time, just those hands... such a powerful image. .... *dies*
I watched it (again) just now - Syed looks down first and Christian follows suit in a "what was that just now?" way. So Syed took Christians hand and Christian's confused and then surprised at the sweet gesture.
Aww cry cry cry. That scene was so heartbreaking, it's going in Desert Island Chryed I think. Not sure yet. Marc has waisted thumbs too! Off to look it up,

Are they not involved in the Square,s rounders match next week?They don,t appear in the cast list in Radio Times,but then neither did Denise last week,and she popped up unexpectedly(but that was probably deliberate to hide the surprise ending)
I suppose it was a fitting ending to their new status as a couple before the next stage of the relationship-but it really sucks for us!

No, I don't think I've seen that one. The one where they drive across America with graffiti on their cars and get things thrown at them at a petrol station, is brilliant. As is the one where they try to adapt a 7 seater into a soft top.
