I have had girls follow me around... I have had girls chat me up and ask me out.
I have also had girls - anyway... long story.
I don't know. Sometimes, in some encounters yes. In other encounters - no.
Women are strange.
Re-phrase that... some are. You know a woman likes you so why doesn't she just do something about it? Why is it the skanky ones who are always up for a good time? Why are...
It occurred to me that most people probably think that they are more attractive than they actually are. It's a defensive mechanism of denial so that they can propagate their dna.
So are you actually a 4 when you think your a 7? and does it matter as long as you can spread your genes, ugly or not.
As a theory that doesn't work. It's not how attractive you see yourself that counts but how attractive your potential mates see you.
But research shows that folk generally rate themslelves on exactly the same the scale as they rate a viable partner.
So, say you rate yourself as 6 out of 10 (and we all know in our hearts where we belong), you are naturally programmed to seek a partner on a similar rating. Like seeks like. Of course, some folks get lucky and pull above their fighting weight but most times the averages play out.
It goes without saying that I'm a 9 but I settled for a 6 with a good sense of humour.

oh forget it.
Why don't you do something about it?
You come across like a 10/10 on the good look stakes and a 0/10 on the potential partner stakes.
Hmm... It varies really, sometimes I will be feeling like I look dreaful then maybe catch my reflection and think "Well, not too bad considering..." Lol.
Other days I won't think about it and happen to see a picture of me uploaded on Facebook and wonder why I left the house!
I'm an ugly old git on the outside but quite nice guy on the inside;);)
You missed the opportunity for a group hug by adding 'quite'
There's a certain charm to men who can say that outright...usually makes for more interesting conversations too, when they don't have that huge "i'm so good looking i could eat me" chip on their shoulder
I hate the way I look so must be better looking than I think as others have found me attractive?
It's hard as hating the way you look means you'll never believe what others say anyway.
Not sure I like the idea of rating people!

Because women need more than good looks.
Me too...don't know why I like them so much and not sure on any given day, which one among the scottish , irish, welsh and english gets my top vote
Regarding looks, I think most women are more critical in their rating of themselves while with most men, it's the opposite!
Why? What? How??? Who is that????:(
I think you are.
Personally I think I am realistic about my looks although my rating of myself goes up and down all the time depending on how I feel.

Best not to incriminate yourself.
On topic: I'm obviously off the chart. Don't laugh!

I have no answer for that.
