A bit like Taryn and Holly from Series 3....."we were called back to work"

I couldn't stand those 2. They were so ugly as well.

They were the "baddies" from Series 3 (Along with Tom and Matt), although Tom and Matt kinda redeemed themselves a tad after they had gone, although they then became part of The Mafia

Lol I know, but I did enjoy watching the S3 baddies. Poor Tracy and her mother were the first victims. Daz however, stood up to them. Tracy was a coward.

As for Matt and Tom, I thought they were the highlight of that particular series, along with you and Sandra? or sorry I forget the names. You were the one who fell off the horse right? lol

I didn't like Anne and her semi-blind husband. Thought she was a right old madam and control freak. Nasty person.

And if people are going to assume the Russ and Caroline alliance was so wholesome, then remember just how cruel they were, when they booted off that church couple. I know the lad looked very much like Harry Potter and they seemed a little dull. But, they voted for them 2 nights on the trot.

And then they target Ron and Debs, which is what lead to Paul and Matt falling out with Carla.

I must say I think that Edward and Jolyon have made this series so far! IMO they have been told to play up to the posh, superior image and they're playing it brilliantly. I think though they've had enough now and, having had the experience will be glad to go (I'll miss them):(

There is no way they are playing that up. You dont fake that. The researchers may ask them leading questions but those attitudes are their own. Have you seen Edwards eyes when those he doesnt approve of come on?

    You dont fake that.

No, I was the one laughing my head off at Michele falling off the horse :D

And Tracy was on with her "other half" James, not her mother.

Anne and her husband were weird.. When we were on the boat to the "beach" (that never was) and Anne put her hands down Tom's trousers,, she showed me some really weird, freaky, sexual photos on her phone which where, quite honestly, like porn....she was really weird

I thought Anne was creepy. No wonder Tom didn't like her.

Sorry, it was Jodie and her mother, or Jen? Oh ffs I have to watch that series again lol.

    .

But, back to S4. I was kind glad that Matt and Paul went(even though I liked them).

As for Carla and Ange, Vin/Lin and Russ and Caroline alliance. It was really Russ's decision which enabled Jake/Romain etc to grab control of the power seat.

I got tired of Carla though, thinking she was something special and I was glad to see her leave.

The final alliance did annoy me at times, but isn't that what makes the show interesting.

Season 4 was the best because you saw the breakdown of 3 alliances over 50 days. The series had room to breath and there was a natural way it all progressed.

I was very pleased Matt and Paul, Carla and Angie all bit the dust one by one. I like the power shifts taking each one out.

Its the thirty day ones where those at the beginnig stay on to the end I dont like ie Hilary. Nikki and Amanda...

I think flyonthewall may be referring to CHARLEY and her mother. They were incredibly upset.

Who would have thought it of Anne? She seemed so prim and proper.

And you for looking! Lol :p

Yeah I agree, but I will say something about Amanda and Hilary. Had the competition took over, they would be exactly the same.

Who was it that made that phone recording of Hilary? I mean, that's pretty low isn't it. I know it's a game, but I didn't trust that couple from the get go and I didn't really like the Irish brothers either.

In S5, there wasn't many people who were booted off that I liked either. Apart from the girls and Glen and his female friend, for the most part, the contestants were pretty dull and boring.

There was of course the sisters and grandmother and grandson, who kept Amanda and Nikki in, so it's partly down to some of the newbies joining the alliance and working together.

I can see this series taking a different twist. Lou could side with the newbies and wipe out the originals.

Lou teams up with Ladi and Leah, to remove the newbies.

Or the newbies along with Beardy get rid of Lou and the originals.

It will be interesting to see what happens, and I think if E and J go, it weakens the original line up, and that's a dramatic shift, considering how much power they had a few days back.

Charly, yeah that's the one. Cheers lol

Anne was rotten to the core.

Have to agree, I would never have them as friends, but looking at it as viewer think yes they have made it so far. Remember anyone from Christmas series, instantly forgettable, no characters

The Christmas CT was too short to remember any of the characters. Yet, i can manage to remember all or most of the characters from S1-8.

Going back to S7. A little birdy told me that Wolfy and Tony wanted to form an alliance with Helen and her dad(what was his name) and Frankie and Alice.

It fell apart pretty quickly though, because of Wolfy and Tony's drinking antics.

So, if E and J do go, does that leave the door open for Lou/Chez to take over?

Lou certainly has a forceful personality and we see her in the titles tearing Beardy off a strip. I can't see anyone wanting to form an alliance with her just yet though.

Although Beardy does seem a little strange, I think he's harmless enough. I have a bad feeling about the second half of this series(for good and bad reasons lol). The calm atmosphere is starting to fall apart.

Either Lou will take over and ditch her friends from earlier in the trip(Ladi and co, although her and Chez don't like Leah) which is probably less likely. Or she will team up with Ladi and maybe Stuart to form an alliance and remove those two new girls. An awful lot can happen in the space of a few days, so it's hard to tell how things will turn out.

It seems to me, BirthdayGirl, as if the whole day’s activities and the new couples have been brought on to show them up. They're doomed.

It's to early to say. Some couples get a yellow around the halfway point and remain on for a few more days. I reckon though, J and E will be getting their marching orders tomorrow.

The two new couples will most likely vote for them along with Beardy/Daughter, so that makes 3 votes. All you need is Lou to stick the boot in and it's game over.

I really hope it's not them. I would rather it go to Ladi and Tori.

The new ladies look aggressive, but seem fairly pleasant. But, I get the impression if you mess with them, they come after you. Think that's what happens to E and J.

She tears into them at vote time in one of the clips 'how DARE YOU:mad:

Bit random, but anyone remember that horrible lady who asked Brendan for vodka at lunch? Then decided to leave because she didn't like him?
Very unfair and selfish on her friend that they didn't even stick it out for another day, also, who drinks vodka at lunch? :S I've never heard of anyone who does haha.

Yeah, they were from S3. I think they replaced Tom and Matt. She was by far the most vulgar character ever to board the coach and she really got on Brendan's bad side.

I don't know anyone who drinks a glass of vodka for lunch. And even if you did, why not just settle for wine or beer at lunch while on a trip!

She was a total scumbag and really common.

The one flaw I find with CT is that the long standing coachees get comfortable and "assume" that they have the right to stay on the coach.

The voting also has flaws .... the "I cant vote for my friends because I've known them longer" shouldnt be a reason.

They should tighten up on the voting. You should have to give a valid reason for voting someone. Saying "you voted for me last night so I'm giving you a vote back" shouldnt be allowed. Its a weak reason. I think if people were just honest, it would totally change the voting system.

I couldn't agree more with this!

Tonight the right pair got the vote, and I hope the right people continue to get voted for, and people stop with the "loyalty vote" system, it's just tiresome for the viewers!

Loving the new ladies, I think we're in for some fun with them! :D
