I was disappointed Rooney went off. He and Hernandez didn't have that many minutes together. As they haven't all season. Shame because last year they were such a prolific pairing.
DDG injury could be an issue.
Andes is on the way back, so it might not be that big an issue, and I have full confidnece in Ben if we need to play him, he is far better than say if we had to rely on PIG.
Yes, but those draws were with Samba at the back, and he made them far more secure than they are currently without him, so I do not see any worries about facing Blackburn, we will go there and win.
I'll take your word for it, as I was extremely confident we'd thrash Fulham tonight!
Needless to say I can't stand the sight of Danny Murphy.
Ahem, any word on that DDG fall that saw him land awkwardly on his arm?
Anyway that non pen tonight makes up for the travesity of a pen that was awarded to Newcastle at Old Trafford earlier in the season, so as they say, it all evens it self out.

What? But I thought away teams never had pens called at OT!! Other than the 4 this season they never do!
Wouldn't shock me if DDG sprained his wrist by landing awkwardly. It's a week to our next game. Just keep him out of training until Wednesday/Thursday.
I'm here, I've got the saw with me!! Let me cut all those fans with rope around the neck thinking we've blown it, down. We can play better, we've been playing better. No reason to worry to much we got a win and that's the thing we all said we wanted before we started.
Yes, they should have had a penalty, and had he given that penalty it may well have led to Carrick being sent off, however it wasn't given, we got the win now let's move on.
Evans clearly MOTM again, a mountain in defence and an assist. Sloppy play in the final third of the pitch, but that's all the sloppy play out of the window now. Next week play with Chico, Welbeck and Rooney up front please SAF, rid us of the lump that is Young. Oh and bring in Scholes, he'll have had 14 days rest near enough, long enough to enable a 90 minute display.
That was the most horrible, stressful three points all season I thought.
Referee was a fussy **** and gave Fulham every damn single decision for even the slightest of touches, then goes a bottles it when they do actually get fouled by not giving the penalty.
Couldn't give a damn it was not given though, Newcastle at home anybody.
Giggs was woeful which made the Rooney sub even more bizarre. It was one of those games, on another night we wouldn't have been as sloppy in front of goal and we would have stuck a hatful past them.

Still by far the most ridiculous penalty I can remember being given this season. Such a great tackle that was from Ferdinand too.
It was a penalty but DM made the most of it. He was kicked on the side of the boot, so suddenly that means both feet have to leap from the ground followed by a jump forward?
Behave.
Considering he's built more like a brick s****house than a prima ballerina he blew over like a crisp packet in a breeze.:o:o:rolleyes:
On the whole we passed the ball well, till we hit the subbuteo line otherwise known as the attack third. Then we switched off. It was only after the subs were made we became sloppy.
A sick part of me wanted that to be called a penalty, but only for DDG to make a diving save that mirrors Schmeichel's against Bergkamp in the '99 FA Cup semi.
Goodnees me, nearly 30 minutes since the end of the game and no one has started a poll or thread in the football forum "Was it a penalty to Fulham". You'd have throught poor Mr Oliver would be getting a right bashing right now off everyone else.
It can't be can it, that they have finally accepted that sometimes ref's make simple mistakes, instead of being on the side of United??
1) We keek trying to play Arsenal style football - it doesn't suit us. Matter of fact we can't even play it.
2) Playing one up top. It just does not work. It doesn't. Why we keep persisting I don't know.
3) Evra. Time and time again he's caught out of position, plays absoultely dire balls. And more often than not - he's our captain!
None of these problems seem to be rectified.
The fact we had 20+ chances tonight and only got one goal speaks volumes. God forbid if Fulham actually turned up to play.
Yes, grinding out results is the stuff of champions - but we've shown that our style of play just hasn't worked in Europe this year - you can't just grind out results in Europe.

Indeed he did. But all players do it these days, unfortunately. He had every right to go down but still, was a bit of a meal.
Exaclty, and yet people will claim that we get all of the decisions in our favour! Just show them that stupid decision for starters!
.....clean your glasses Fergie.
3 - Only West Brom (4) have given away more penalties at home in the Premier League this season than Manchester United. Untouchable?
If it had been given you know he would have stepped up to take it
It wasn't so much a "meal", more like a banquet fit for King Henry the 8th!
He meant to say, he saw "a crisp packet passing by".;)
Well hopefully he hasn't been nicking SAF's viagra!:D
Unless you meant another body part.
SAF's Viagra?? Don't you mean Giggs'!
Media would be heartbroken over that!

Haven't you read the papers? Clearly he has no problems getting stiff. :D
Although honestly SAF's trophy collection probably makes him feel happy in many places!
