Ah yes. I was driving along this morning and vaguely remembered her Will Smith retweets. Just checked and it actually says Will Smith Parody.
4000 seems a lot, there were nowhere near that many at his tour gigs and those were in cities which are easy to get to! Even taking into account the local interest I wouldn't expect that many..
I think it might be surprising how many are there! Hammersmith had a capacity of 3, 600 and something and I know it was a central gig but people had other options then like a tour date in their area. We are in drought now so I'm sure a lot of people will travel for another sniff of Matt, we all know how addictive he is:D:D

I'm thinking the fact they are going to do much trouble to make sure it goes ahead would suggest that plenty have been sold ?

I wish he was staying in L.A. longer tbh. Whilst he's there he is fully concentrating on writing and recording. He's also kept the tweets reasonably regular. I think getting back to do a dolly mixture gig (ie 3 songs probably) is a distraction. I understand that they pay well (I think he probably gets about £20K for something like that) but I would prefer there to be a concentration on the album. The so called month was not much more than 3 weeks in the end.

I have spoke to Mick Vines from Boston Town FC. He said the council have refused license. But he is looking for another venue.

This person said it's about crushing issues, I feel football grounds must have to be especially on the ball here because of related deaths some years back.
You would think so wouldn't you? Surely one of the first things to be sorted out would have been the licence - do hope it's sorted out - so many people are going to be gutted and out-of-pocket if it truly is cancelled.
In order for the license to be granted in full n rubber stamped the organisers will have to meet certain standards etc as set by the authorities, council, police etc.... Obs they have concerns but there is time to sort these issues out tho it is a worry indeed for anyone who has bought a ticket.
