I chose number 9 in the other one. I was going to do 15 but that would just be stupid to do it twice.

My excitement in BB is nil. Hoping the sweepstakes will keep it interesting for a bit

Can't think of a nicer person to share with. :D

I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt start putting up blue plaques in your honour for going beyond the call of duty when it comes to falling over. :D

Sounds like you had a good day with your friends, well apart from the boiled weeds :D

It certainly shouldn't be happening.......makes you wonder if they'll adopt the same policy over the Olympics when the volunteers actually realise what they've let themselves in for.:mad:

Dunno.......maybe something to do with the stupid jubilee maybe. :p:D

:D Its one of those things that I've just stopped caring about (well the UK one at least). Think it also has been part down to missing most evictions last season and assuming the same will be done this season. I'm just fed up with the format though, the whole public voting thing is just complete crap

Hello to all here, it's nice to see old faces again and quite a few new faces too! It was BB which brought me here to DS, ages ago. I'm looking forward to this season. Apparently I'm paired with Acker in the sweeps, at #14. ...Acker, nice to meet you. (S/R, I am truly just being pleasant so just shurrup ;) )

    Hi Gemo !!

As you can tell by the vast amount of wall postings I make, facebook scares the living daylights out of me :D

    Hiya. Lovely to see you.

Most of mine are about apps.

I do keep in touch with distant nieces and nephews which is nice and I can follow what the kids are up to because they both post a lot.

I also use FB to send Mr G interesting links I find rather than trotting into the office to show him on my lappy. :D:D

Had a lovely day with Michelle and Graham.

The Acropolis was crowded, I have never been up there in peak season and it was a bit frantic. On the plus side, the ticket staff were on strike so it was FREE! :D

We went to eat and Michelle bravely tried the boiled "weeds" (dandelion leaves, beet tops etc). She didn't like them but she did taste. We had the 10 dishes for a set amount menu - no salad but she was happy to eat moussaka, meatballs, pork, calamari and little fish.

Afterwards, Sam moved the car to the other end of town while we meandered through the back streets where tourists rarely go. We waved to my hairdresser, saw the Language Institute where I have my lessons and wandered down the street that sells only religious artifacts for Churches and monasteries.- much to M&G's amazement.( People are starving here but the Churches spend thousands on robes, bejewelled crosses and golden chandeliers - neither do they pay tax.)

We then visited the main Cathedral and moved onwards past the bookseller who's trousers I pulled down during one of my memorable falls - he has worn jeans and a belt ever since!:p On, on past the shop where the assistant had previously assured Sam that the jacket he wanted to buy for me would be o.k. as it "fits that fat woman over there"...:( The next milestone was the very place I had had my toe dressed by a handsome policeman after I had fallen flat on my face in front of a tour party. Thence past Monastiraki metro station and along to a coffee shop near the Temple of Diana where G. and I had iced coffee and M. had banana ice cream ( Erk! ). Sam joined us there and we all had another wander to where the car was parked, then we drove back to Piraeus.

It was a really lovely day, not too warm but wouldn't have liked it to be any hotter.

Sounds (and looked ) lovely. The Acropolis was teeming when we went and people were told to move on an not tke photographs on the steps.

You either accept it the way it is or do as you are doing, until we are in control of the production we will have to do with what they give us.
I love it anyway, hope you will be able to enjoy it as well?

Yes, it was crazy. I have taken loads of people there but earlier or much later in the year. The men with whistles were getting really frustrated..

No, sorry, I didn't get home until 10pm and had to watch Made in Chelsea with Rhys.

The dentist gave me penicillin which should clear up the abscess. But she could throw no light on the lump in my cheek about the size of a marble which I thought had developed at the same time, but it may be that I have only just noticed it because of the other problem. So will have to have another appointment with my own dentist about that. But I really must find a dentist I can trust because it is clearly time to give up on all my top teeth and have them removed.

    Working in the shop today.

Sounds nasty - I had an abcess on the root of one of my teeth a couple of years ago and it was so painful I could only cope by holding freezing cold water on it. I couldn't stay in the chair long enough for the dentist to look at it so he gave me dental penicillin and told me to come back when it hurt less!

More info about tonights launch and twist.

Also teasers about all the HM's.
The Daily Star has previewed all sixteen of the Big Brother 2012 housemates, who are unaware they’ll be forced to nominate each other during tonight’s launch show.

As soon as the front door shuts, the group will each have to choose two people to face the boot based on first impressions alone. The unlucky frew with the most nominations will immediately face the public vote, before the first evictee is chucked out on Friday after only three days to make way for the Wildcard housemate.

A show insider commented: “It’s a cruel twist but it will make great telly.”

Meanwhile, the paper also printed the following teaser descriptions of the new line-up:

    Bubbly potty-mouthed Essex girl
    Posh Calamity Jane
    Flirty chef with a secret
    Reformed LA gangster
    Deep-thinking porn star
    Ladies’ man club promoter
Tomboy girl with black belt in karate
Male model and martial arts fighter
    Feisty, fiery beauty queen
    Indian glamour-puss
    Sexy Irish charmer
Posh boy who loves all things upper class
Professional dancer with links to showbiz
    Animal rights campaigner cougar
    Energetic, ex-Playboy bunnygirl
    Flirty, silver-tongued doorman

Tune in to Channel 5 from 8.00pm tonight to watch all the action unfold – and stick with bbspy this evening for our live launch night coverage!

    I loathe them all, already:rolleyes:

No, hicky, I can not trust my present dentist. He is the one who has left it so late that Rhys has an adult tooth that is growing at 90 degrees, will probably never grow down even with two years wearing of a brace until after he is 18, and is in fact threatening the stability of his two front teeth. Grrr
One of the reasons I haven't been posting lately is because most of my news at present seems to relate to medical matters.:)

That's OK, we can cope if you can.
    Hicky wrote: »
    Oh dear Littsis, how awful
Isn't it best to take the tooth out and try and maybe replace with a false one, if it's almost horizontal you can't return that back to where it should be surely.

They sure have big tough HM's in Africa, glad they aren't in ours.

Wait til you've seen them, they could be as bad:(

Hi LAR - I almost forgot myself! I am very busy at the moment but a few years ago I'd have been counting down the days, regardless of what else was going on in my life:rolleyes:

In some ways I hope I find myself not caring, I don't really have time to get too involved and spend hours arguing with FMs on the threads:cool:

I'll tolerate it. To be honest I haven't enjoyed BB for a few years but watch it till it gets cancelled. Its like most shows I watch, if I watched it from early on I'll keep watching till it eventually comes to an end :p
