Are we supposed to believe that just because the photos were deleted on the phone, that technical forensics wouldn't be able to retrieve the photos?!
If they could retrieve the photos off that phone, surely they could also trace and retrieve the ones on Fizz's phone, as this was the one they were originally taken by?
SUrely, surely they would have backed up the photos
You'd have bloody thought so wouldn't you?!
So he didn't send copies to Fiz's mobile even? Just relying on a mobile which Kirsty could have come across at any time? OK Corrie
Of course, they'd immediately think Tirrone did it. It's not like they've known him for years nd years and years or anything.
I wouldn't have minded up to three people totally believing Kirsty but like you say, people who know he's not violent are believing her? Who know that even when he found out about baby Jack not being his that he never whacked, harmed or threatened Molly? Really? Oh no there's the all encompassing statement of: "he's been through a lot,it can change you". Plonkers.
I know what you're saying, but in real life this is how it almost always plays out you'll find people's memories are remarkably superficial during a catastrophe
I fear you speak the truth. But it's still incredibly annoying.
Well done Corrie for completely ruining Eileen tonight.
Seconded.
Couldn't believe it when she said something about "I live next door, I know/hear what goes on". Now if you were listening to that in a pub you might well believe the stupid woman.
I can't see any way Tirrone can get off with this,,,,there is no evidence backing him up,,,,so the police will take Kirsty's word for it and everyone has presumed what they saw was the truth. So it is looking bleak for Tirrone
Give the police the phone they would be able to recover the photos
I was going to say this in reply to rhumble's post too.
Plus didn't Fiz mention a hospital visit after he'd been attacked? I might have imagined that though! Then there's Fiz, Tina and Tommy's 'evidence'. I don't think all is quite lost yet.
We're suddenly meant to believe that Eileen and Sally both side with Kirsty's version of events. Sally, at least should have realised how aggressive and 'dominant' she has been at Underworld, especially in her dealings with Fiz.
In contrast, Sally's known Tyrone for years and, whilst you should never judge a book by its cover, his personality is more placid. On appearances at least it's easier to see that Kirsty's the one with the short fuse and is more prone to outbursts.
Julie has been dim beyond belief. If Tyrone was so controlling and unreasonable wouldn't it be more likely he'd want Kirsty at home all day, away from people, where she'd been easier to "control".
He'd hardly be sending her out to work and "allowing" her to spend time at the pub with her workmates if he was that intent on controlling everything she does.
I was very disappointed with Eileen's attitude as it really didn't sit well with me. Still, I suppose they had to pick someone to side with Kirsty and Eileen, Paul and Sean were the natural choices given that they live next door and were able to overhear the argument and the subsequent crash as Kirsty fell down stairs.
This is such a common feature of Corrie's "injustice" plots, and it drives me mad! It's the same every time: in order for the storyline to progress, everyone has to accept the baddie's story and completely dismiss the word of someone they've known and been close to for years. After all, Kirsty's only been around for a short time and she's already been involved in all sorts of nasty dramas (didn't she get thrown out of the police force for trying to crash her car into Tina's or something?) Yet everyone blindly sides with her against dear old lovely Tyrone whom they've known since he was a kid!
And don't get me started on Tyrone's failure to back up the photos....words fail me!
Hard to argue with that either!
But re the Tina's (Rita's) car - If my memory serves me correct she managed to cover all that up. It was breaking into some councillors to look for evidence of something that got her discharged - can't remember the exact details now though Summat to do with Terry Duckworth?
Same as a computer hard drive, you can usually recover data until its location has been overwritten with new data. (Supposing there hasn't been a mechanical failure.)
The original phone might be chock-a-block with FizTy and kittens by now.

You would think Eileen might have given Tyrone the benefit of the doubt, given that she herself was wrongly accused of abusing Lesley not too long ago.
I hope she humbly apologises to poor Tyrone when the truth finally comes out

Yeah, we better see some groveling from her. Eileen was infuriating.
Way beyond awful and it's such a shame as there's some good stuff trying to get out, not to mention Natalie being able to act the socks off practically anything.....She deserved the award she didn't get and she and we deserve far better writing.........
Still with the polls at least no one was stupid enough to have a zero option this time, so 1 it is and will be until people see sense and stop the moronic polls.
Final scene just spoilt the whole storyline for me. Absolutely disgraceful 'acting' from the girl playing Fiz and even Tyrone who I thought has improved massively throughout this was very poor. Arm behind back..'oh no officer don't take me' ...cut to Fiz and Homealone hands on face, no tears and collapse into brothers arms. I was laughing out loud and I'm pretty sure that wasn't the effect they wanted. Awful acting and awful writing.
Such a shame Natalie G is a bloody star and her performances are flawless but with Fiz involved it whole thing is just dragged down to pantomine.

What did you expect her reaction to be, did you think she would do the gangnam dance in joy at him being arrested.

THAT'S where I've seen it before!
Natalie Gumede = robbed.
Unfortunately, yes, as we soap fans are dumb!!!:eek:

LOL!!!!
This is spot on. No matter how many sob stories about his terrible childhood he came up with.
VERY good point!
This is bloomin' ludicrous.

NATALIE WOZ ROBBED!!!!
I think we know what kind of voters were multiple voting on THAT one don't we?
She can be incredibly poisonous and just never seems to learn.
Was glad to hear Kevin sticking up for Tyrone though.
Anything other than Tyrone having her
Evil bitch.
Seconded.

Now you never saw that happening did you Quelle surprise! LOL!
The story might have more holes than a string vest but that was very hard to watch I have to say.
Have you ever seen anything like that?
Ridiculous

Can't argue with any of that.
That she had fallen down the stairs?

Most Popular Serial Drama Coronation Street
Fiz still has the photos on her phone so it doesn't matter if they get recovered from the other phone.
Also, I guess Kirsty has destroyed the phone as she'll know only too well that the photos could be recovered.

Yeah, we better see some groveling from her. Eileen was infuriating.
No, Fiz deleted them from her phone. I think she said they were too upsetting or something!
Oooh my 4000th post
Have a glass of Rioja! Congratulations

Well done you, congrats. At this hour I can only offer you one of my cornflakes.
And yes, Lotteh is a great summer-upperer
Did I say I hate polls.
Such a shame Natalie G is a bloody star and her performances are flawless but with Fiz involved it whole thing is just dragged down to pantomine.
Even though I haven't read the thread yet.
Well done Lotty summation is always very good.
Analysis is imminent, well sometime this morning anyway.:)
What did you expect her reaction to be, did you think she would do the gangnam dance in joy at him being arrested.
The new evil Demon Produce Blackburn Corrie Joyless index will be at 10 for her
Only for broken bones.
Ummmm real tears maybe???? Bit of acting maybe? I don't know just something a bit less 101 drama school reaction to a dramatic situation.
No one should ever feel sympathy for Kirsty.
