And it looks like you who were the one who started the baiting first. Sherlock:D

Could you explain why you feel the need to address other FMs as 'Sherlock' and use smilies in the way you do? Could you also explain why you do not believe this is baiting behaviour?

I have just read back on a few pages so I dont know what was spoken about all day, but I feel that for some people he will not be able to do right. If he contacts the family he is looking form sympathy and if he does not contact them he is heartless and does not care.

No he cant do right .I know if she was my daughter he could do nothing right in my eyes ever again .

I'm basing it on what he has said, after all, we cant just jump to wild conclusions that he was up arguing all night and preparing to shoot his girlfriend....................... oh wait.............

People are not jumping to conclusions - there are witnesses who heard arguing.

One thing I find odd is... if his story is entirely true.... and I had done the same thing.... I'd *want* to go to prison for ma long chunk of time, as some sort of atonement for killing the person I loved..

    Ok sorry about the moron

You posted, saying the PR machine, asiff being sceptical that its all true etc. and that non of it is sincere

And this is what I meant about his PR machine:

The statement was released through Vuma Reputation Management, a Johannesburg-based firm that specialises in brand-building and crisis communications for clients such as mining firm Anglo American Platinum, Colgate and First National Bank. It has begun the long process of trying to rehabilitate Pistorius's public image by overhauling his website.

Oscarpistorius.com now has black borders, a statement about "the recent tragic events" and photos of Pistorius in action, smiling with children and posing on the front of the New York Times magazine. It says messages of support are being received "in the thousands".

Vuma's four-strong team has taken over day-to-day public relations from former Sun editor Stuart Higgins, who was in court on Tuesday handing out photocopies of Pistorius's affidavit to journalists, but then flew back to Britain and took a backseat role.

You're such a moron, you think all of this is BS?????? and it wouldn't apply either way, whether he killed her by accident, or in a fit of rage?

What do you want from them?
Wow, can you read???When he said murder, he meant killing, which is obvious!

    Read his other points below.....
Oh yeh, he is crying to make us all feel sorry for him..... durrrrrrrrrrrr
Another thing alot of you sherlock / Captain Hindsights out there seem to think, when you wake up at 3am in the morning, after presumably 4 hours sleep say...... do you think absolutely perfectly, being aware of everything around you, and are able to make perfectly logical decisions? No, we are more like zombies. Couple this with being paranoid that hes going to be drowned to death in boiling water (which has happened) it changes things a little to what YOU would do.
And it looks like you who were the one who started the baiting first. Sherlock:D

And you wonder why npeople feel you are baiting ? At very least you are being rude , at worst you are posting things that are actually against the T+C s

Maybe it is, but there is also the distinct possibility that it is true. His slick PR team were in overdrive and obviously calling the shots. Anyone who thinks otherwise is being a bit naive.

    I don't think it's at all likely.

Unless it was some preplanned murder, for some as of yet unknown motive other than a motiveless shooting in the heat of an argument, I'd say that being distraught was an entirely natural response.

I've just looked on his web-site and I can't, with the best of the world, see how - having pics of a smiling Oscar - is going to help with retoring his "image". Please, may be a bit more thought about the images perhaps?

I would rather use the rest of my life to go on and do some good in their name than waste it in prison. Again different people different feelings.

OK OK, I might be picking apart peoples posts.

But the bating thing seriously was not me, someone was baiting me, at the same time trying to accuse me of baiting, check the posts out. Specifically the "you must be new" post

Don't be silly you can't possibly kill someone in the a heated argument, which may of occurred here, and then feel remorse, guilt and sadness.

Well, if the intruder were armed, it's possible they could shoot through the door at anyone outside. A sub-machine gun might have made a mess of most of the bathroom. This is South Africa. It's not implausible.

The (hypothetical) intruder wouldn't be able to see him through a closed door, though. Standing near the bathroom entrance, OP could have kept most of his body shielded while still covering the toilet door with the gun.

However, it would have made much more sense NOT to return to the bathroom at all, but to cover the passageway leading to the bathroom from the bedroom. Switch the light on and he would immediately see anyone emerging into the passageway. Get Reeva to retrieve the key and his prostheses, open the door and they'd be away safe.

I don't know about you, but it is my view that the difference between what people think they'd do, and what people would actually do is crucial in relation to helping determine the plausibility of his story.

Well .... Because OP said he was terrified, I find it less plausible that he would go back into the perceived danger zone, when there was a much safer course of action available to him.

'Cause her death'? What a nice sanitised way to say he killed her. It's a pity the court couldn't bar his family from making any statements because all their statements are is an orchestrated PR exercise to plant seeds in the minds of everyone that this is just a tragic accident.

You think they should have been a bit more graphic?

Then they'd be accused of being insensitive.

I don't think either family needs the Internet over analysing everything they say or don't say for cheap point scoring.

    Moron was wrong, I apologised.

Sherlock wasn't even directed at any one in particular, just people who think locking a toilet door is highly unlikely, or the shoulda, woulda, coulda posts.

How could he be sure that there is not a second inturder waiting outside the bedroom somewhere

It might need a computer to reconstruct the trajectory of the bullets and Reeva's position and stance in the toilet (whether she was standing or seated) and how she was standing or leaning or inclined, so that 3 bullets could hit her in the hand, the knee and the head.

It seems that way to me. I would think the less said the better, to show some respect to RS's family. It's just all feeling like PR to me :(

Of course, I'm sure plenty of people have murdered someone in the heat of the moment, then cried their eyes out and regretted it for the rest of their lives, just some people on here can't seem to get that.

He tweeted this on 24 Dec.

Found a place in Joburg! Looking forward to moving back in the new year. Will still be in Italy for 5months/yr but happy as can be

Yes - interesting that his lawyer totally denied that he had a property in Italy during the bail hearing. yet that article in the Mirror which an FM linked to quotes him as saying he has a house in Gerona.

It's nothing to do with point scoring, I think they should keep their mouths shut and keep a low profile. But they won't, because the PR drive is in earnest now and I am sure they are reading from scripts.
