Sorry OP but it does to a lot of women.
I agree - but it's not the length that is so important (as long as it's a reasonable length). What really matters most is the girth.

Well I am going to argue about Michelangelo's David being the perfect male specimen.
There are a lot of peculiar things size-wise about that statue.
His dick is too small and have you ever noticed the size of his hands ????? They are absolutely HUGE. About twice the size of normal ones.in proportion to the rest of his body.

I'm sure I saw a documentary where they said that a large dick was considered low class.
Then they wondered why all the rich ladies had a bit of rough :D

I think people don't realise how bad it can make a man feel. It effects your whole life. There are some very cruel comments on other sites.

I have no idea whether it matters to ladies as those I know are far too refined to discuss such matters. Even after 7 pints.

It certainly does matter to a lot of gay men who are obsessed with the matter. Personally, I'm quite blessed in that department, but I used to know a lad who was so enormous he hated it. I mean - colossal. He had flat on the South Bank with a fantastic view from his bedroom, but it blocked out St Pauls.

Of course people realise how bad it can make a man feel but any perceived physical imperfection - especially if it's sexually related can make anyone feel bad (man or woman) and affect their whole life. Men haven't the monopoly on feeling inadequate or painfully embarrassed about some aspect of their bodies which affects their sex life.

It is not the comments that are at fault on here. If anything it is the OP who is being insensitive. If he (or she) makes auch a statement as "Size doesn't matter" he is obviously inviting contradiction.

    .

Female hangups are all visual and can be overcome. Turn off the light or just get down to it - how she looks quickly becomes secondary.

Penis size is visual and also affects the primary act itself. And it's not very common that a woman thinks of her own size first and foremost in that situation - it's all on the man.

In terms of sexual attractiveness, I don't think penis size matters at all. Like when you walk down the street you judge men's looks based on their face and body not their penis. Unless you've reached the bedroom, the penis could as well be non existent. Who cares what size Matt Bomer is, he's already hot!

It's just like the size of a vagina does not determine a women's attractiveness. Also, I've noticed its usually men that are more concerned about penis and penis size and porn (which is overwhelmingly if not totally male oriented) where women are shown to only care for that part of the male anatomy doesn't help.

Be glad you are not in this situation.:D

Well if you have a small one like me it means you have no confidence what so ever, so it does matter. How can you get it out in front of a girl if its not much to look at, your get laughed in the face. (I hope to god no one ever finds out who I am on here lol)

No matter how many times someone tells you its average it does not help!

    My rant is over.

In all honesty any girl who laughs in your face isn't gonna be worth sleeping with in the first place, you're better off without anyone like that. I know you probably wont believe me but if you met someone you really liked and who felt the same way then I really don't think your size would matter.

No, But if you are not attractive either then you are in trouble.

And we are not in ancient Rome.

At the end of the day it does matter to a degree, if you have one which is bigger than average you can have no worries about going into changing rooms or getting your kit off in front of someone, Your also probably be cocky.

if you have a average one you might not feel confident about getting out at all, and you may not have as much confidence as someone with a larger one. But if a girl really loves you it should not matter, as long as it can get the job done its fine.

I have just learned to accept what I have, nothing can be done about it at the moment. The more you think about it the worser it will make you feel. There is always someone worse off than you.

    *childish snigger*.

I prefer medium myself, though aesthetically pleasing, large ones can be a bit painful.

As long as it looks pretty and isn't thin it can be worked with. However if you are lacking in all 3 departments I suggest you learn some tricks with other body parts .

Porn isn't just about male woman interaction and yes size does matter, at least to a certain degree.

    Not true !
Turning the light out won't affect the embarrassment of being overweight, or underweight and knobbly jointed, having pendulous slack breasts or practically none at all, a slack belly or folds of skin following childbirth or weight loss, a too large vagina - I could go on.
Having the light out doesn't give the illusion of a perfect body, There is the sense of touch as well as sight.
Besides it's very rare to have sex in pitch dark. Most people prefer to see their partner and what about daytime sex?

I am aware of this, that's why I never said it can be kneaded and flattened with a rolling pin.

An ex of mine was fairly small but because he made the effort in other ways sex was always fab. I had some of the best sex ever with him.

Very large just hurts... in my experience!

I am with you on this one! My present partner is the smallest willy I have ever had but he knows how to press my buttons. Actually he looks very very small when flaccid but when erect there really isn't much difference to all my other partners (not counting the huge Barbados cricket player!!)
