It's the fan who bought the ticket who loses out though. The touts have their money.

Hopefully people will quickly learn not to buy off them. Thus the end of touts, not a moment too soon!

I have been saying that for years, if people stopped buying off touts and these websites it would 'eventually' stop.

An interesting discussion about it on the Bloodstock forum. Look at the first comment. There's your problem.

I just discovered this band & fell in love. This track's glorious. So atmospheric. Over 12 minutes long though.

Summoning - Land of the Dead

It's got chorals & everything & nothing pig squealy. :)

Whilst they're certainly not the best band in Britain, I actually think they've matured into a really good band.

Please forgive me for being the proud mum!! My son's band 'King Creature' are forging a wonderful lead in the Ultimate Band Battle Marshall Ampflication. I think they are wonderful. My son has Aspergers Syndrome and a special gift for playing guitar, he is the guitarist without the bandana!

Would be really grateful if you could FB like them or tweet them as it all counts to get them into the final! I know I am biased but I am also very proud! Hope you all like :)

    http://marshall.licklibrary.com/entrants/2013/KingCreature

Voting doesn't start until September BUT the highest face book likes and tweets, youtube etc could earn them a place in the final alone! Would be really grateful of your clicks!

    Thanks everso folks :)

I'm f*cking steaming! Just saw this post on a Metal forum

I think it's a shame, as from what I've seen most of the women who like metal will listen to anything and everything, without caring if it's good or bad. People who play instruments and write music, enjoy music that's creative and well-written, and since there's such a lack of women who play metal music you kind of end up with what I've just described. Of course this has not been observed on here, the women on here all have individual tastes, it's just that most female musicians will feel discouraged when it comes to writing Death Metal or Thrash Metal, so focus their time on other genres, and so don't appreciate well written metal music and seeing it as all the same, and enjoying it all the same.

Just as well we have men like him around to tell us what we're supposed to like, isn't it? Patronising tw*t

Alice in Chains is pleased to announce the addition of several UK tour dates this Fall with special guest Ghost. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 12. Date and venue information below:

Nov 9 - London Alexandra Palace - London, UK
    Nov 10 - Leeds 02 Academy - Leeds, UK
Nov 11 - Manchester Academy - Manchester, UK
    Nov 13 - Birmingham 02 Academy - Birmingham, UK
    Nov 14 - Glasgow 02 Academy - Glasgow, UK
Nov 15 - Newport Centre - Newport, UK

Seems an odd pairing. Ghost have been going down like a lead balloon when supporting Iron Maiden recently. God knows what AIC fans will make of them.

AiC and Qotsa playing on the same week. Thanks a lot, festivals. Getting sick of bands all touring at the same time at the arse end of the year.

I wish I had that problem. None of the touring bands that I want to see are coming anywhere near the North East :(

..Sadly the amount of Women I see at Metal gigs in England has dropped over the years, back in 2003 when I saw Dimmu Borgir play at the Astoria the women outnumbered the men significantly, nowadays you just get a coupled dragged along by their boyfriends.
