I'm on the ipad and it doesn't fit my screen and I can't see the right side of the forum. Too much blank spae between posts and the colour is awful.
I usually fine with changes but this is awful.
Agreed. I never complained about the millions of changes Facebook have made over the years, because I generally adapt to them quickly.
It wasn't broken - WHY was it "fixed" :( It's bloody awful and the homepage ( for me ) is a complete nightmare as is this forum - it's totally faceless :mad::(:(
i can't even get to the end of the threads as the buttons are off the side of the page! I can't see how many replies or views there are,
Surely someone should have checked how it looked on an ipad? obviously not!
Unless it changes there's no way I can read it now so will delete it from favourites
Can't read the right hand side of the screen on my I pad. Please can everyone only write in short sentences!!!
Seriously, please can we have the old layout back
I've been out since I was on the other thread and just logged on to this.
O.M.G. I thought the main site was bad enough but this is far worse than I could ever have imagined. White and grey? It's like a vampire has sucked all the life out of DS.
If this is a 'lick of paint' thank f**k they didn't do any 'major' changes!
Try zooming out? I got the same on Firefox, and it seems to have solved it, though, whilst I can see the whole page now, the text is smaller and harder to read.
I have had to reduce to 100% and now I cant read it :mad:
TIP: You have set the thread width/postbit width to a set number of pixels. That results in some users having acres of blank space (like me) and others on lower resolutions having parts of the thread cut off. Instead of setting the table to a set pixel size, set it to a % of the screen, e.g. 90%. You can do that in vB, we've been doing it plenty on our forums to ensure that all users have optimum use of space.
Bumping this because it should be a QUICK FIX. Change from pixels to percentage width and you are instantly appeasing those who complain about blank space AND those who complain about having part of the postbit cut off.
Also quoting this because I think the contrast in that colour scheme is much more pleasing:
needs a better font, bold it for a start, but i do like the menu at the top ..... lose the alt text though, it's not needed, unless it's a description of the section or a short text of the leading article

Trying to like it but it's.....challenging!
Kinda crap isn't it?

Ya know! It was prefectly ok and the fonts and colour schemes didn't assault the eye. It was lovely.
This new layout & colour is giving me a headache, and I'm not one who likes to moan.
Seriously, please can we have the old layout back
I hope they are currently arranging a refund!!!!
Here is the tweak that you can import into Stylebot

this is absolutely horrible.
My thoughts exactly...

My feedback? It's ABSOLUTE CRAP!

An option for
old look
would solve it
although if
they want a
new look the
Kargo would
be great
i liked the blue
