I misread the figures, post has been removed and apologies made I'm not acting like a child, just the figures I read had (OF) for official and (ON) for overnight next to them and I just misread the list. As I said, apologies for misreading
Well my post made a mistake as well, hence my own hasty editing so I'm not much better. Samuel's posts and those who insist on replying to every one in a sort of mud-slinging match is tedious though.
Apparently the EastEnders trailers are now being shown across the ITV network. I'm not exactly sure if this is true but the member who posted it seems legit.
Has this ever happened before?
If EastEnders sees no increase this week, not even the tiniest of rises, then I don't know where the show can go promo wise. It seems they have pulled out all the stops this time. Be interesting to see what effect, if any, it actually has.
EastEnders commercials on ITV? I need to see this with my own eyes.

I questioned this last night and so far nobody that has actually seen them has confirmed and until they do or as you say I see them myself I dont believe it.
Fargo debuted on Channel 4 with over 1 million viewers on Sunday, overnight data reveals.
Martin Freeman's US drama was seen by 1.6m (7.3%) at 9pm (354,000/2.1% on +1). Earlier, Philip Glenister's new series For the Love of Cars brought in 1.4m (6.0%) at 8pm (239k/1.0%).
On ITV, Endeavour's finale episode dipped by 200k to 4.5m (19.3%) at 8pm (459k/2.2%). Catchphrase entertained 3.2m (16.2%) at 6.45pm (199k/0.9%), followed by Off Their Rockers with 3.3m (15.0%) at 7.30pm (318k/1.4%).
BBC One's The Crimson Field dropped a further 600k to 4.8m (20.2%) at 9pm. Countryfile topped the night overall with 6.3m (30.1%) at 7pm, followed by Antiques Roadshow with 5.0m (21.8%) at 8pm. Match of the Day 2 scored 3.2m (21.5%) at 10.35pm.
On BBC Two, 50 Years of Golden Sport on BBC Two interested 1.2m (5.4%) at 8pm, while Dara O'Briain's All About Two attracted 1.9m (8.8%) at 9pm.
On Channel 5, martial arts film Forbidden Kingdom thrilled 934k (4.2%) at 7pm (136k/0.6%), followed by Act of Valor with 778k (3.6%) at 9pm.
BBC Three's broadcast of Toy Story 3 was seen by 1.1m (4.9%) at 8pm

I do think Toy Story 3 should of been on BBC One during the day like this:
11:00: Pope
11:15: Songs Of Praise
11:30: Toy Story 3
13:00: BBC News
Once again one of the ratings of the year for BGT.
Hard to tell where it is going this year yet though, the first episode buoyed by an unusual situation and Saturdays depressed by Easter and weather maybe.

The BBC will probably want a more prominent slot for TY3 on the main channel for what would be only its second showing there-Christmas Eve Or Boxing Day most likely.

Poor ratings once again for Catchphrase and Off Their Rockers, demolished by Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow with ease. Looks like viewers are not enjoying these shows as much as last year. OTR is repetitive, they have the same things in it every episode. Also reduction in Itv weekly reach doesnt help.
Shame to see The Crimson Field drop again, but we'll have to see where it settles. It's a rare drama that doesn't fall by a million or more in its first couple of episodes, frankly, so I don't know why everyone is so surprised?
Not good figures for Catchphrase or Off their Rockers, either. ITV will have been hoping to have acquired two new solid returning formats last year - but that's looking rather more doubtful now they've been steamrollered by the Countryfile express.
Why would they - part of EE's ratings issues now is it has gone of the radar with the casual audience and they're not tuning in for the big stories "to see what the fuss is about". The character they've killed off probably barely registers with the people watching, never mind the people not watching.
I don't want to get drawn into unrelated EE chat - but the story isn't really about the character they've killed. That would be like saying Broadchurch was about Danny Latimer or that CSI is about the random corpses they find at the start of the episode. That's why they've only started promoting it after Lucy's already gone! I'm not suggesting there'll be a huge bump in the numbers - I rather suspect there'll be plenty of gleeful face-rubbing around here on Tuesday morning - but gradually winning back some viewers isn't impossible. The soaps do it every year in the autumn.

They should've put in in primetime leading into EE today. Would've been a ratings winner and much better lead-in for EE. Something like...
16:45 Pointless
17:30 BBC News
18:00 The One Show
18:30 Toy Story 3
20:00 EastEnders
Would've been solid for the late afternoon with Pointless and The One Show (and the news always rates well). Then into Toy Story 3 which should rate much higher than current schedule. Then a quick junction into EE to try and keep the lead-in boost.
Brilliant official rating for the BGT launch. Most watched opener ever!
With regards to Saturday's 9.3m rating. Yes, excluding +1 (8.3m) the number is low by BGT standards - but its not like these dips haven't happened before.
For example: last year the final auditions show averaged 8.6m which was the lowest of the series at that point and then rebounded to 10.3m for the first live show. In 2011 the fifth auditions show averaged 8.4m and then jumped back up to 10m the week after.
I think it will be back around 10m next Saturday. When BGT dips its always for a reason other than people are getting bored as it always recovers the week after. If on Saturday it posts similar to the weekend just gone - then there maybe a problem.
A good rating for Fargo. But another imported drama rating better than many if Channel 4's homemade ones. Maybe they should try more on Sunday nights.
Fargo did well and hopefully will hold at a similar level throughout the series. Although its hardly a huge hit, the demos are likely to be very desirable
Oh Catchphrase and Off Their Rockers. They really deserve better than that. The Crimson Field, Endeavour and Fargo hurt each other resulting in declines for the former two and a mediocre start for the third. Countryfile is rating higher than Emmerdale and Antiques Roadshow had a very good night.

It's not about the death of the character it's all about the aftermath.
The family trying to find out how Lucy died and what she had been up to leading to her death.
That's exactly why the aftermath has been promoted and the actual death hasn't
If EastEnders doesn't get much of a boost tonight it will be the end of the week for sure. I think tonights will see some sort of a bump anyway.

While I like Catchphrase can I say I have always thought OTR was appalling. Countryfile is just amazing although I am not sure exactly how it does what it does.
Don't people need to care about the character though to care about the aftermath. Ian Beale has pretty much always been somewhat of a joke - even when the show was popular. I can't see a storyline centred around him pulling viewers back.

Different strokes for different folks I guess! It seems like, other than putting the soaps back, that ITV have lost the Sunday 7pm slot for good now.

If anyone has the actual officials for Endeavour could you please post them - thanks.

2m (8.8%) inc +1 & HD. Held steady throughout.
Totally forgot it was on.
A poster campaign from a supposedly cash strapped BBC is bad enough, but buying air time on ITV is surely unforgiveable?
No wonder Fargo it held steady, it was bloody brilliant
I questioned this last night and so far nobody that has actually seen them has confirmed and until they do or as you say I see them myself I dont believe it.
And I'd say not very believable. I'll believe it when I see it.
There's a couple of repeats across the week.
