Only by you. :D

There was nobody else in the frame.

* If you think about it - it hadn't been updated for ages.
Chin says he listening less to LBC.

*You said the site has been closed.
Chin says he is not contributing to this thread on a regular basis anymore.

Therefore 2 + 2 = 4,592 !!!

When it began, all those years ago, I thought it was Radamfi. He was the only one with the technical nous and could explain how it was done. It's possible he might know who it was. He still posts on DS. Track him down and ask him. I think chin probably posts pictures on the Flickr stream but he's not the Foamarmeister.

I agree.

I have always thought that the Foamarmeister is/was someone with LBC insider knowledge.

Whoever he is, he's a flipping genius! Thanks for the fun, FM. :)

Some of us might consider that istening to SA is a form of torture. :)
:):):)

I'd be very upset if he left the radio.

It would ruin my life actually. :)

Dear oh dear. You're sounding as sad as he does.
You need a hobby. ;-)

Must say that ex-LBC man - and one I stiil miss from weekend breakfast time - The Max, is a proper gentleman. Every time I've contacted him via Twitter, even with a few words, he always replies and says 'Thank you'.

A pity that some other presenters weren't brought up so politely!

Agree he always gives respect to his followers by tweeting back & I like him for that. I still have to listen to his Radio 1 show though but just can't wake up for it.

And the population got up as one, and started cheering ;-)

Hip hip ...seriously though I do applaud his dogged determination

Off topic I've looked for mention on here but saw none Did anyone hear Sams overnight show when he was discussing nursing and he inadvertently not only NAMES the caller who had asked the producer that he remained anonymous BUT did it AGAIN in his eagerness to apologise for the blunder
Don't know who I felt sorrier for
Sam has gone from strength to strength when he's filling in
I'm hoping that we may hear a show presented by Zora and Amanda ...maybe a two hander
What do you all think ???

Zora would present an excellent show, a helluva woman and skilled broadcaster.

I may, or may not send you a PM. :p Meanwhile is John Stapleton going to be given another go? First class journalist and ideal for LBC.

Sitting at my PC waiting ;-)

JS will be in for Andrew Pierce on Saturday morning (unfortunately it clashes with 'Sounds of the 60s' on Radio 2 !

Why don't LBC give Brian 6-8 weeks off to sort out any issues and draft in John Stapleton as a replacement?

Good heavens twice in one day I'm in agreement with you
She is also an avid tweeter and is often kind enough to reply to mine
As she's also a qualified boxing ref I would love to hear her present some sport too

Amazing! Zora would be a welcome addition to a sports show or as a stand in, she has to be better than Hosken.

I do a bit of gardening - and not just hanging baskets.

Was it Anthony Davis?

Or James Max?

......'cos it would take a lot longer. Unfortunately Brien's issues seem to be deep-seated by all accounts proffered - buttock-clenching-ly so :D. By now 'our' 10.00 am presenter should, I say 'should' have gained a little more insight into his adolescent shortfalls/ways. His hang-ups are evident when foisting off his resentments on callers who disagree. They are either lambasted in a jokey 'put-on' way, or when the going gets tough J O'B shoves them aside in a fit of ridicule before suddenly cutting them off.
Could 'colonic irrigation' be a short-term solution if he decides ever to take a respite from radio?

You're right.

I see that he's wearing a ring on his wedding ring finger. Is there something we don't know? ;-)

Could SA possibly have a partner he keeps from us? We all know how NA always speaks in the singular but has a partner. Nick does seem slightly paranoid about his privacy though, which SA certainly doesn't.

I would say that it belonged to one of his parents or grandparents.

I know loads of people who are genuinely single - or I think they are.

At least four - male and female in their early 50s - have always lived with their parents.

The only odd thing about them is they are all highly competent and responsible.

Plus they are not overly good looking and have always been unambitious.

Wouldn't that be his mindreader/magician friend, Graham Jolley?
