I did ask in there if it was ok that I have my own thread and I got told it was fine

It's easier to keep track if I have my own thread

You actually asked in the weight loss thread whether you could start a new diet topic. This isn't a new diet topic....

If you don't want to post your progress in the appropriate thread, why don't you keep a food diary off line rather than starting your own personal thread?

Not cutting out no but I will be cutting down, having proper meals instead of a load of snacks

You should always eat proper nutritional meals. Not just on some daft diet. Colon cancer on the horizon. Your body must be wrecked. Do you eat any protein, fibre, fruit or veg, ordinarily? I'm stunned here.

Potatoes are veg so part of the recommended 5-a-day, surely? :D

OP just prefers them in crisp form ;-)

I have no idea how old you are but you seriously need to educate yourself about nutrition before it's too late. You need every day, protein, carbs, vitamins, minerals and fibre and not a pile of junk laced with sugar and salt. Either that or get some good life insurance if you can.
