Can't believe England becoming World Champs. It just doesn't feel right to me when the best English hopes were snooker players or Steve Knight, whose playing ability rhymed with his name .
The Americans seem to have fallen away. Is it down to the new brigade just not being up to the level of the likes of Varner, Rempe, Davenport, Strickland and Archer?

But it's not just a US sport any more. The phillipines and China are big in the game and Europe is getting better and better.
THe UK are now starting to produce players where 9 ball is their main game over snooker and 8 ball (on 'our' smaller tables).
