I think we have found a new Saturday night LE series now, having watched Michael McIntyre's Very Christmassy Christmas Show, I think they could use it as a pilot for a new show, Michael McIntyre's Very Own house party Show. As well as fridge cam they could put covert cameras in people's homes, and cut to them, guests ringing on the door bell, it would make great Saturday night viewing.
I do not think anyone has done it before. ( and if it has no one would copy the format )
EE DW MBB were all great last night, Miranda started well fell off near the end it needed one of her songs to end off with and say a guest star, like Barlow.
Miranda did start off well, although I felt Bo Poraj should have featured more in the episode. I won't say too much as there may be some who haven't seen it yet - but those that have will know what I mean.
Eastenders was fine, even the other half sat on the sofa half watching and loved Danny Dyers actions at the end. He doesn't watch EE but said that the acting was very good for a soap ;-)
Well I'm up, primed and ready for the dullest Christmas Night ratings in years. ;-)
The Miranda special was clearly not intended for Christmas Night with its miserable ending. No wonder the star herself looked shocked when someone told her ep1 aired on Christmas day!
So there we have it
Mrs Brown tops the ratings for Christmas Night on BBC One, with Eastenders second and Miranda third with Doctor Who in fourth place - or, well done to ITV with Downton and Corrie coming top
Bear in mind the quality of a one off episode doesn't effect the overnight ratings. To know whether Miranda was good or not, viewers will have to have watched it, and hence watched it in large numbers.
Expect EastEnders to 'now be' ahead of Coronation Street and for this set of ratings to be the most talked about over the next few pages...
I predict Mrs Brown's Boys to be number one show yesterday.
I am expecting nothing over 10m and ITV will not do as badly as many are saying. There has been a lot of under prediction for ITV so far. Of course I am always wrong !! ;-)

Should we have a PP sign?
I've got a cup of tea.
And Miranda's last Christmas show on Boxing Day 2012 had 9.5m. All to play for.

Mrs Brown's Boys - 7.61 million
That's a disaster. Clearly ITV had a blinder.
Apart from a few shows viewing figures really are collapsing aren't they.
Low but consistent till McIntyre.

Doctor Who stank as well.
Dread to think how low ITV was!
