Oh come on people. It's one thing not liking the song but to call it a novelty or joke entry is extremely unfair. I for one am very glad that we're the ones bringing the quirk and fun factor to the contest this year.
Well I am a bit surprised from what I've read here!
I rather liked it!!!
It was different, quirky, uptempo, and will stand out I think! I love that style of music and thought it was a great twist on an old style. Yes its not radio 1 fodder, but that ain't a bad thing!
I found myself tapping along, and the tune is in my head!
My housemate who is a non-eurofan, says it is defo more memorable than last year as its different to anything she has heard in eurovision before!
Going with a retro concept is a great idea (just look at Estonia) but this just comes off as a half-hearted attempt.
It sounds like a cheap jingle from a radio advert that's trying to be 'cute and quirky and retro'.
They've made the fatal error of "picking a song to do well in Eurovision". They should have just gone with their gut instinct and picked a song that could go top 10 in the UK singles chart. If Freeman is so confident in it's chances, release this thing onto iTunes UK tonight and let's see how it does.
Feel sorta bad jumping the gun. 5th listen, and it does get better.
Just so frustrating that after the great start they made last year with Molly, they've set us back. I can't imagine this doing well at all. The so-called "scatting" is dreadful though (and do they even know what 'scat' is when they filmed the reveal?!?!)

Happy that it's not down tempo, but I can't see it being of mass appeal.
I just don't get why they would pick this. I'm just so confused haha. Like who seriously was on the panel? As if the jury in Azerbaijan or the people of Belarus will vote for this?

Though the majority of the audience will get one listen rather than five so it's fair to have an opinion then.
If it was upbeat but with a modern pop sound, then yea. But the 1920s thing will never work. Oh well. At least we can enjoy the evening as a neutral again!

I really should be watching Portugal, but I'm chugging the wine hoping it will act as some sort of mind bleach

Their efforts are pitiful so they deserve the criticisms.

It's like I am a witch and she's water...
Stop trying to make 2015 Saade happen. He'll never happen.
Though the majority of the audience will get one listen rather than five so it's fair to have an opinion then.
Saade will win
1. Samir & Viktor – ”Groupie”
2. JTR – ”Building It Up”
3. Dinah Nah – ”Make Me (La La La)”
4. Jon Henrik Fjällgren – ”Jag är fri (Manne leam frijje)”
5. Jessica Andersson – ”Can’t Hurt Me Now”
6. Måns Zelmerlöw – ”Heroes”
7. Linus Svenning – ”Forever Starts Today”
8. Isa – ”Don’t Stop”
9. Magnus Carlsson – ”Möt mig i Gamla stan”
10. Eric Saade – ”Sting”
11. Mariette – ”Don’t Stop Believing”
12. Hasse Andersson – ”Guld och gröna skogar”
Mariette has a very good draw!!!
Wonder what Christer is thinking....?
Dinah and Groupie buried.
Thought Hasse would be on first
