Confirmed that Gotham returns in the UK on March 16.

Double bill as well, so we'll soon close the gap on the US for all you proximity obsessives out there.

    Good news :)

Thanks for this, I was wondering when it was coming back.

As I'm typing this a trailer has just come up for the return :)

So it's back 2 weeks from today? Good news! Does anyone know how many episodes we'll be behind when it returns on 16th March?

They're probably still filming the remaining episodes (the promo for Episode 19 had no new footage) and they most likely want them to coincide with the May sweeps, so the finale will air on May 4th.

They have a plan for this show to reveal batman at the end of the series so I assume we're talking 5 or more years but will the show last that long or get canned after 2 or 3. whats the viewing figures like in the US?

The ratings are good. Season 2 has already been ordered.

Second half of season 1 returns tonight on Ch5 at 9pm. Hope it's been advertised enough so that everyone knows it back. Be interesting to know what the viewing figures will be like.

Wonder what Arkham Asylum will be like.

BIB - I was wondering that too, I only just remembered myself. Glad to see the rest of you were more than aware! ;-)

Morena Baccarat must be the most glamorous doctor to ever work in a mental institution.

Sick of those bloody DOGS appearing on screen to tell us what's coming next. They are so intrusive.

No neither did I and called it so when Gordon realised it must be one of the staff. Good to see that actress again, I've not seen her in anything for a long while.

Agreed - although my eyes where more tired than I thought and I had to catch up with the ending this morning - but I know I enjoyed it as the near-2hrs duration went quickly. I'm keen to see how Fish gets out of this one (if she does).

I'd happily go mad, for her to treat me...;-)

Great return of Gotham last night...but no Bruce.

Liked it when Barbara didn't know who she was talking too and got rattled.

Last night's feature-length Gotham had an audience of 915k (4.9%) at 9pm. Hopefully it picks up and goes back up to above 1m.

I hope so, too. That C5 mid season could be costly as this earlier post suggests:

There's always a drop off after the first episode; the main issue is whether it's maintained a good showing compared to it's other shows. Figures from BARB for C5:

    #1 w/e 7 Dec 2014 2.124M
    #1 w/e 30 Nov 2014 2.220M
    #1 w/e 23 Nov 2014 2.213M
    #1 w/e 16 Nov 2014 2.507M
    #1 w/e 9 Nov 2014 2.453M
    #1 w/e 2 Nov 2014 2.555M
    #1 w/e 26 Oct 2014 2.744M
    #1 w/e 19 Oct 2014 3.200M

It's clearly their most popular show.

    C5+1 had Gotham at #1 w/e 7 Dec 2014 0.431M; no show on C5+24 where Expendables was #1 with 0.078M.
