Anyone that got jealous over their partner selling burgers would probably require locking up for their own safety, but getting jealous of them having sex with someone else is far more understandable.
A totally different field but porn actors and actresses have similar issues forming relationships with people outside their own profession.
Whilst in my case the girl may well be able to detach herself emotionally from her clients I think it's far harder for a partner to accept that is the case. More so when she admits that she actually likes some of her clients...
As I say she also thought some of them were complete knobs and some she felt sorry for.

If even the biggest supporters of the work and the workers can/t imagine having a relationship with them, it's little wonder they will always be viewed as 'different' to people outside the sex industry. I hadn't thought of it until you guys mentioned how you'd find it too hard for a partner to do it....
To be honest, I think we're going to see some shift from monogamy and life partner relationships to more open relationships and changing partners more frequently over the coming decades. I think many men suffer from sexual jealousy in the same way as many women are still repressed sexually - social conditioning.
It really helps no one and certainly not the girls. If you push prices down all it means is they have to see even more men to earn the same amount.
Also I think it's fair to say that the lower the prices the less savory the punters it attracts.
Whatever way you look at it the girls are being put at greater risk by this sort of action.
I have read it, and I've seen plenty of similar scenarios. I've already explained (at some length ) my views on the overall subject.
No model is perfect and without issues. And I'm still of my original view, but just a bit more open to alternative methods of reducing demand - knowing full well the downsides, but believing there to be overall net gain in the numbers of exploited women protected.
In this particular instance, it demonstrates how reducing demand has to be partnered with making services and support available to the workers so they have a viable exit option.
