Use of water cannons is not legal in England

Why? It's a bloody overgrown hosepipe, FGS! Or is this the water companies whinging about preserving stocks again?
If they are illegal, there needs to be an emergency bill passed in the next hour or so to make them legal and get them shipped in from NI.

He's telling the rubberneckers to go home so they can deal with the real troublemakers.

SO a hard line right wing government, a bit like ...oh Nazi Germany perhaps? this would be better or worse?, people would feel more or less resentment, more or less 'equal'?
this would lead to more or less civil unrest?... I can wait,

I wasn't the person who said that. I just mean that with the current bunch (all the main 3 parties) we'll just get the same crap year in year out, with nothing being done. Things will never change unless someone comes in and isn't afraid to take a stand

Doesn't need to.....all such meetings can be easily conducted via conference calls etc

It is not a requirement, but his remaining on holiday makes a statement that this is not that important.
Had there been a huge natural disaster, or a terrorist attack he would have flown home in a moment.

It is unfortunate, but all people can see from his staying is that he does not think this warrants being seen to be here.

Nor is arson, looting, or thuggery. Bring in the water cannons, I say!

Like they'd be going to university.

You could pay their tuition fees and they would never go to lectures.

You could give then a job and they wouldn't get out of bed and go to it.

Some of them won't have even been to school:rolleyes:

No it won't. Not Liverpool, Edinburgh, Norwich, Oxford, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Plymouth, Southampton etc.

Just the ethnic melting pot dumps. Uncontrolled immigration doesn't work.

I wouldn't want to be living in Manchester, Burnley, Bradford, Leicester, Coventry, Preston, Leeds, Nottingham, Derby tonight. These anti-capitalist nutters know where the tinder box towns/cities are and they ain't the ones that are 90% white..

Many European countries have to have a water tank under every home by law, but here we don't have that because then the water companies get less business which means less money to the government

Why that term?? Its a valid term. You might not want to accept people enjoy rioting as a "fun" activity...but its clear they do. I know all too well seeing these scum in Northern Ireland smiling and having games throwing stuff at the police.

i dont find it invalid, i find it depressing.

why is it depressing? because of all the millions of £'s of damage, the homes and businesses wrecked, the emergency services not available for anything other than recreational rioting

sorry if i dont want to accept it as fun. silly, fuddy duddy me.

And WHERE ARE THE F**KING PARENTS OF THESE KIDS?

They've probably only met their fathers a few times and their mothers will be scared of them.

Colliers Wood, South London. There were reports of the two shopping centres being attacked tonight...I guess it's actually happening. I won't be leaving my house to check.

I don't blame you! Stay safe - baton down the hatches.

2021: Interesting little tale from Upton Park just in. Hoodies there tried to attack a shop, and the shop owner and his staff came and beat them all up apparently.

the bbc saying what everyone else is thinking that these people know they can and will get away with the riots because there is no proper prison sentences in this question so nothing to put them off from committing crime

Absolutely - Whatever stops this - Not long before we get a death of a child or passer by at this rate.
